Around 1,500 refugees emigrate to Tarrant County each year from countries around the world, including
Nepal, Myanmar, and Congo. We have the opportunity to welcome these newcomers—many of whom have experienced hardship and are now trying to find a new life in America.

Here, they are our neighbors who need our care and our concern. The refugee children desperately
need love and education. EG Academy provides refugee children with free extracurricular opportunities.
Our goal is to treat them with true love, so that we may encourage them to grow into people with
bright, happy futures.

EG Academy offers spring and fall semesters each year. Currently we run art, music, soccer, guitar
and ESL classes. Students meet every Saturday.  Along with the regular classes, we offer various events
encouraging family-wide participation—like the Family Photo Event, class recitals, and exhibitions.
